LINEAR PARK LA PRESIDENTA




The linear Presidenta Park is a green lung of the city in the middle of the Poblado neighborhood. This park link an important business space with a social and party park better known as Lleras Park. The Preseidenta Park counts with several tracks that allow enjoying many gardens as well as practicing sports and spending time with friends.

You can spend time reading, doing sports or shoping some things because this park is near to different malls.











At night you can find several places to eat or to drink something without thinking about time, security or transport.

SPAIN LIBRARY PARK





Spain Park Public Library, better known as Library Spain, is part of a series of urban projects and social development in this area of Medellin for the cultural and social transformation of the city.

For this work, the architect Giancarlo Mazzanti has been awarded, at the Sixth Ibero-American Biennale of Architecture and Planning, Lisbon 2008.
Library named after Spain in honor of the contribution made by the government through the Spanish International Cooperation Agency with the provision of an auditorium.

This park offers an amazing view of the north of the city, as well as; important spaces to read. It was developed to allows people a calm environment to get tranquility, fresh air and a correct costumer attention and overall a space to escape of the chaos in the city.

LLERAS PARK




The Lleras park is an important place in Medellin, because it involves several aspects in this socity. When you go to the Lleras park you could find party, food, music, and representative fashion trends.

The Arví Park is an ecotourism proposal placed in a Santa Elena corregimiento in Medellín. It is a natural place that offers you natural environment full of fresh air and many trees.

EXPLORA PARK



It is located in the North sector of Medellín


An interactive center for everyone that is considered the most modern park of its kind in Latin America. This park has more than 300 interactive experiences and kids and adults can have a great time because all can enjoy several activities that this place offers.

People can learn how physics plays a role in the daily life. Inside there is a giant foam bubble in the “Living Physics Hall". People can travel through inside mysteries “Life Connections Hall" where people will get the chance to beat a drum with the pulsations of the body.

Explora Park Aquarium

Approximately 153 thousand gallons of water fill the tanks at one of the most iconic tourist venues in Medellín.


In a exceptional space the visitor is transported to the exuberance of Colombia’s aquatic and terrestrial wildlife ecosystems, represented by 379 native species from the country’s rivers, lakes, and wetlands. 



More than 4.000 species are distributed in the 25 modules.
There are catfish, manta rays, tambaqui or cachama, sardines, and piranhas and so on.

There,  people will come close to poisonous frogs, exotic snakes, tortoises and tarantulas.


 Also, there are special pedagogical rooms where visitors can learn about animal conservation in their habitats.





People can access to Explora park : tuesday to friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.., saturdays, sundays and holidays from 10:00 to 6:30 pm.

BERRIO PARK






It is considered the heart of the city , it was built in 1680 and in early years it accomplished an important role because it served as marketplace and stage for public and political meetings .



The park is located at Medellin downtown near to Parque Berrío Metro Station. It is close to a Candelaria Church and now a big part of the city’s economy and business,  still work through this historic sector.
